In recent weeks, extensive research and speculation have already been taking place in numerous professional and fan forums. At exactly 2:00 p.m. on September 25, 2024, together with the renowned manufacturer Mack Rides, we dropped the bombshell at IAAPA Expo Europe 2024 in Amsterdam: our park’s junior managing director, Jan Völkel, officially signed the contract for a true world first. From 2026, the world’s first MULTI LAUNCH WATER COASTER will spectacularly expand our existing attraction lineup.

To celebrate our 30th anniversary in 2026, we are giving both ourselves and you a very special gift. The anticipation and pride surrounding this major project were clearly visible during the contract signing. Jan Völkel could hardly hide his enthusiasm:
“With the world’s first water coaster featuring multi LIM launches, we are not only fulfilling a dream of our own, but also want to say thank you to our loyal and steadily growing fan community in a very special way. This unique combination of high-tech, water fun, and roller coaster thrills does not exist anywhere else in the world. The action-packed yet family-friendly nature of this major attraction will perfectly complement the diverse offerings of our park. It is no coincidence that once again we deliberately chose to rely on our trusted partnership with MACK RIDES—and thus on a genuine ‘Mack product’.”

The MULTI LAUNCH WATER COASTER launches you straight from a standstill directly on the water, promising the whole family thrilling curves, splashy drops, rapid direction changes, and even a second launch before plunging into the water one final time with a powerful splash. With an investment volume of approximately €11.5 million, this impressive water coaster guarantees multifaceted riding fun across more than 500 meters of track, featuring outstanding elements such as a High Five zone and a Twisted Airtime Hill. A completely new ride experience awaits you from 2026 and is sure to grow the number of Plohn fans far beyond the borders of Saxony.
